OhPunch is a Paris-inspired punch needle brand that creates DIY bag kits—easy to make, stylish to wear. Our kits include everything you need to turn thread into a bag you can actually carry.

 

2. What makes OhPunch different from other DIY kits?

Most DIY kits focus on small decorative projects. At OhPunch, every kit is designed so that what you make is wearable and ready to use. Our Paris-inspired color palettes and graphic designs ensure your bag looks fashionable, not just crafty.

 

3. Do I need any prior experience to make an OhPunch bag?

No experience needed. Each kit is beginner-friendly with pre-printed guides and all materials included. If it’s your first time crafting, you can still finish and carry your bag with confidence.

 

4. How long does it take to finish a bag?

The time depends on the kit you choose.
Our simplest bag can be finished in about 2 hours, perfect for a quick creative win.
Our feature product, the Pochette kit, is more detailed and usually takes 10 hours to 2 days, depending on your pace.
Both are designed for beginners—the difference is whether you want a quick project or a deeper weekend experience.

 

5. What’s included in a kit?

Each OhPunch kit includes everything you need to start and finish your bag:

  • Punch needle essentials: punch needle, embroidery hoop/frame, 

  • Theme materials: color-matched threads, pre-printed fabric with theme design

  • Bag components: lining, zipper, rings, clasps, strap

  • Tutorial & extras: step-by-step illustrated guide, video tutorial

Optional straps and accessories can also be added.

 

6. Can I customize my bag?

Yes. While the panel design is fixed, you can choose different straps, chains, or charms to match your style. Swapping a strap or adding an accessory changes the mood instantly.

7. Is OhPunch suitable as a gift?

Absolutely. Each kit comes in gift-ready packaging. It’s a meaningful way to give something handmade, either as a kit or as a finished bag.

When placing your order, you can leave us a note or email us to let us know it’s a gift. We’ll include a gift card—signed with your name or left anonymous, as you prefer.

Punch needle is a simple, beginner-friendly embroidery technique that creates loops of thread on fabric. It requires no prior skill and is even easier to learn than knitting or crochet. At OhPunch, we adapted punch needle to create structured, stylish bags.
